Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.
His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.
On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.
I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.
There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.
What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.
OH my word….absolutely howling with laughter whilst reading this book
Seriously I don’t know how, scrap that, I know how Quinn does it, she has a knack at doing it, pulls the reader in and absolutely annihilates anything they guess is going to happen.
Told in three different POV’s “Stroked” is a great read with, lets say, some extremely “different” characters.
Bellini Chambers – A spoiled brat, severely overconfident, a rude reality star who thinks everyone wants to be her and worship the ground she walks on.
Reese King – Olympic swimming, silver winning, model who consequently is fake dating Bellini for a TV show to get good ratings for his life “after” swimming.
Paisley “Mauve” – Desperate for work, having to be a PA to Bellini and her wickedness ways. She’s drawn to Reese for more than just his “in-the-water” abilities.
After losing her job Paisley was trying to get her foot back in the door of Production. Unfortunately for her she landed an assistant job with the train wreck Bellini. That’s when she meets Reese. Paisley wants to stay professional but can she resist the handsome Olympian?
This Olympic games is his last and Reese is hoping to chase the elusive gold medal. He can’t afford to be distracted from his intense training. Well, no such luck!
In all honesty I absolutely FLOVED the character of Bellini, she was absolutely hilarious! Haha! Some of the things she came up, yes was vile, but out of this world funny as s**t.
The relationship between Paisley and Reese is sweet, it was refreshing.
Paisley was funny and spunky while Reese was nothing like I expected, he was sexy as sin but down to earth and not full of himself, as you would expect someone of his stature to be.
Their three worlds collide, lines begin to blur between work relationships and lustful stares.
Can things remain friendly or will feelings, emotions, and hands start to get in the way?
