~*~ Cover Reveal ~*~ Bloom (The Order Series, #1) by Nikki Rae

Given to The Grimm Order as an infant, Fawn was raised in a world shaped by the rich and powerful. When she was sold at the age of nine to a Suitor, Fawn believed he would protect her from the “Mainworld”, where those who know nothing about the Order live. Living with the cruel man who bought her freedom, she finds just what the Order is about: money, control, and status for the Owner and humiliation and abuse for those they own.
Unwilling to accept the expectations of being Owned, Fawn goes from golden girl to maid, content to live in the shadows of the Order as long as she isn’t Owned again.
It’s been ten years since she disgraced her former Owner’s name, and now the brooding Frenchman Elliot Lyon wants her. Master Lyon is kind, smart, and unlike any man she’s met. She doesn’t want to admit it to herself, but Fawn is drawn to him despite constantly planning her next escape.
Even the prettiest flowers have thorns, and Master Lyon is hiding secrets that will uproot everything she thinks she knows about him.

Ice clinked in his glass as he took another gulp and then set it back down. “He wasn’t supposed to touch you,” he finally said.

I knew it was impossible, but it sounded almost as if he was apologizing. Angered by his audacity—that he thought I would buy one word he refused to say—I couldn’t bite my tongue. “Why does it matter?”

My tone was ice; I had to wrap my arms around myself again.

I heard him inhale, but he still didn’t face me. “Of course it matters.” The edge to his voice sounded as appalled as I had felt the moment he’d tied my hands behind my back and made me even more helpless than I already was.

Anger flared in me even brighter. “Why should it?” I asked. “I’m only here for what men like that want to do with me. He’s just more honest about his intentions than some.” I wanted to sew my mouth shut. No one ever spoke to their Owner in such a way. I knew better, yet I couldn’t stop the truth from spewing out of my mouth. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the impact of his open palm across my cheek, still damp from the condensation on his glass, but it didn’t come.

He casually took another drink of amber liquid, leaving just enough remaining in case he decided he wanted more. “Dry off.”

She left me. She ruined me. The day I found her gone I promised myself I’ll never let anyone have that kind of hold on me. Especially not a woman. Now she is back. No matter how much time has passed, no matter what I tell myself, her hold on me is still strong. There is also a secret she’s been keeping from me. Exclusive excerpt from UNTIL

We meet again, baby doll.”

“I’m no doll or princess, hot shot.” I lift my chin into the air.

A soft chuckle falls from his lips. “What are you then?”

“A rebel, all sass, and attitude.”

His fingertips slowly touch my cheek. “For me, you’ll always be a doll.”

His words are soft caresses against my skin. I take a step back to break the spell his words left me under and narrow my eyes at him.

There hasn’t been a man that affected me like that in … ever.

I don’t know what it is about J.D., but every time he’s near I lose myself to him.

Johnny calls out and breaks our staring contest. He leads us through different poses, every one sexy but sophisticated.

J.D.’s hands move over my body—it’s nothing like it was that night. They are on my waist, back, or somewhere on my arms. It’s simple and professional.

But his hold is like I remember it—firm and strong.

The palms of his hands are not soft and taken care of like most of the male models, they are rough and chapped. Hands of a man that actually uses them for a living. When they trace my skin, in the most innocent of touches, they make me shiver in delight and my insides clench. Awaiting.

He can feel it. I know he can. I heard that bastard chuckle softly behind me.

I can feel the heat of his body all around me, it’s radiating off of him, and sometimes, when he has to stand right behind me, I can feel his hot breath on my skin.

We don’t say anything at all, we just do our job. But I can feel it. This something building between us.

Sexual tension.

I never sleep with the same man twice, but something about him calls to me.

Makes me want more.

One more touch.

One more kiss.

One more night.

Until this passion inside me is extinguished completely.

~*~ Blog Tour ~*~ The Other Brother By Meghan Quinn

THE OTHER BROTHER by Meghan Quinn is finally here! Check out the excerpt and teasers!

NA Romantic Comedy
Model: David Harris
I got the call. The dreaded call every child fears. My dad wasn’t well, and the man who had always been my everything needed me.
There was only one thing to do; pack up and head back to my hometown. I had finally made my dream life in the city with the great job and loving boyfriend. But was there really a choice not to go?
I found a wonderful job, a quaint house to rent, my boyfriend was working on joining me in Binghamton, and my favorite pizza place was only miles away. Life was good.
Until I met my neighbor.
It’s been three years since I’d seen Aaron Walters, and my God is he all kinds of sexy gorgeous. Figures. He was supposed to be my forever, the man I grew old with, but he had different plans. How can a man who ripped my heart apart still trip me up? How can he make me still want him now more than ever?
I’m tempted, I’m drawn toward him, I’m completely and utterly unaware that I’m dating his biological brother.
Now two men own my heart. The question is, which brother will I choose?

Why? Why does he have to magically appear in my life? Moving back to Binghamton, I thought about the possibility of maybe running into him, but I thought it unlikely, something that would never really happen.

Boy, was I wrong.

What a sick joke life is playing on me.

Aaron Walters, the boy who broke me into pieces is my neighbor.

I can’t fathom the impact I feel already.

Seeing him in hip-hugging jeans and a tight, plain shirt did a number on me. It kept me up all night as memories of what we used to have flooded my mind.

His voice.

His stature.

The way he used to kiss my neck.

The way I felt so protected in his arms.

Too bad his arms couldn’t protect me from his devastating, heart-breaking self.

And hell, he looked good. Too good.

He’s always been tall with handsome features and a chiseled jaw, but now he’s bulked up to the point that I could see his abs flexing under his shirt, the same shirt that stretched over his biceps.

But it wasn’t his muscles or handsome features that once again made my heart ache, it was those eyes. So bright, so blue, so kind, but still so sad. It reminded me of the first day I met him, of the day he stole my heart from every other man on the market.

Broken, unsure, yet yearning for love. It was all there, and like experiencing a moment of déjà vu, I was transported back into a time when I felt invisible, like I could conquer anything with him at my side.

Once again, I was wrong.

Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

~*~ New Release & Review ~*~ Awakened By Power (Empire of Angels #3) by Zoey Ellis

“I love you, Thea,” he whispered. “I will always love you, even if you don’t love me. Remember? I am yours.”

Thea is destroyed. Cam’s absence cuts her deeply and causes her to question if she ever really knew him. Devastated by news from the Dominion League, she is sucked into a trap that could threaten Cam, her family, and all she has come to love.

Cam has resigned himself to the consequences of his actions. Although he is devastated, he vows to ensure Thea is kept safe, even if she’s not with him. When he is given one final chance to show Thea the depths of his love for her, to save her and truly earn her trust, he embraces it with a fierce determination that he will not fail.

Awakened by Power is the third book in the Empire of Angels series, a paranormal alpha angel romance series. If you’re a fan of alpha heroes, powerful heroines, gritty paranormal worlds and destined mates, start with the first book, Claimed By Power.

About the end: This book is the final book in Cam and Thea’s story and it has a HEA.

Passionate, sexual scenes and strong language included. Not suitable for readers under 18.

My Review:

Perfect ending to Cam and Thea’s story.

I was once again blown away by the world that Zoey Ellis took me through and the feelings that she evoked in me with her writing

Thea isn’t doing so well as she heals from the accident.

Alone and plagued with constant headaches, she has no idea what has come of her mate or their commander. All she knows is that she feels abandoned and confused.

Cam faces the battle of a lifetime. Not only does he have to save himself, but he has to save Thea. He just hopes he can gain Thea’s forgiveness first and that his absence won’t negatively affect her due to their bond.

The angels aren’t the only ones that are attacking. Demons are coming to take what Cam treasures the most.

In this instalment, we get to see the repercussions of Cam’s behaviour.

Spending so much time away from Thea only made it worse and his only hope was to finally connect to the stream and hope the Creator would be forgiving after what he had done.

This book was everything I could dream for in a finale of the story of Thea and Cam.

It was beautiful and surprising

~*~ New Release & Review ~*~ Ruined By Power (Empire of Angels #2) by Zoey Ellis

Ruined By Power (Empire of Angels #2)

Not all habits can be broken…

Powerful, half-angel Thea faces the scrutiny of the Angel Realm and is beginning to realize that angels are nothing like how they are depicted in the human world. She is intrigued to hear information about her family and pursues the history that has been hidden to her for so long. As Thea tries to get the answers she needs, her faith in Cam is shaken when truths about him are revealed.

Power angel Cam is concerned when he realizes the Angel Realm has plans for Thea he wasn’t made aware of. He fights to keep her close and protect her from the challenges she faces. However, when the pressures on their relationship bear down, he teeters on the edge of a darkness that could cause her to walk away from him forever.

***This is a continuing story from the first book in the series, Claimed By Power.***

My Review:

Firstly I would like to give the lovely author a HUGE thank you for kindly providing me with a copy of “Ruined By Power” to read and review.

Since the first book both Thea & Cam have come along way in terms of their relationship and trust issues, will they be able to survive further turmoil, misconceptions, interfering & personal demons…..

Thea embarks on honing her skills and developing them more and more each day whilst being in the Angel Realm, waiting for Cam to have his meeting with the Thrones to determine their future, to determine whether they can truly mate one another, to determine whether Thea is actually a Nephilim

Cam hasn’t felt this way in a very long time, he’s frightened he may do something wrong, something to push Thea away from him when he’s only just got her back on his side, what will happen when an urgent mission takes him away from her weeks at a time?

I will pre-warn you though there is a cliffhanger at the end….one that may/may not have guessed….AND we have to wait until AUGUST to find out what happens next!!!!!

~*~ New Review ~*~ Behind the Lens (Boys of Fallout #2) by Cassandra Giovanni

Natalie Scott’s life is simple with no strings attached. As a band photographer, she’s made metal music her life, and life on tour means no relationships.
At least not ones that last and that’s the way she likes it.
She only has one rule.
Don’t date or otherwise screw around with the client.
But she never said anything about love.
Brent Andrews knows Natalie’s rules.
And he’s about to make sure he’s an exception to them.
All of them.
Even ones she doesn’t know she has.

My Review

21 year old Natalie Scott is living the her dream.

She’s working as a photographer for bands touring around states, capturing their exciting tour-life.

Natalie has rules, one she especially vows to never break again especially after getting burned with one of the bands she previously travelled with.

Brent has taken it upon himself to break all those rules but he is breaking them for the right reasons.

The attraction between Natalie and Brent is undeniable. Yet, it takes some time for them to admit it.

The characters of the band are realistic.

They are best friends who fight, argue, play around, and have a laugh with while travelling around the country and creating bea-u-tiful music.

This is the second book in the Boys of Fallout series, every one different to its predecessor

Each book is a different band member’s story.

I definitely recommend picking them up and reading each one.

~*~ New Release & Blog Tour ~*~ The Rise of the Dawnstar (The Avalonia Chronicles #2) by Farah Oomerbhoy

The Rise of the Dawnstarbook two of The Avalonia Chronicles.

Aurora Firedrake returns in the spellbinding sequel to The Last of the Firedrakes.

The seven kingdoms of Avalonia are crumbling and evil is spreading across the land like a plague. Queen Morgana is close to finding a way to open The Book of Abraxas and it’s only a matter of time until she uses the power trapped inside its pages to enslave the entire world.

With Avalonia growing more dangerous by the day, Aurora must travel through war-torn lands and deep into the heart of the fae kingdom of Elfi. Her goal is to find a legendary weapon infused with the last of the realm’s ancient magic—the only weapon in the world powerful enough to stop the queen.

Aurora might have survived her first battle against Morgana, but the true fight to save her kingdom and restore her throne has only just begun…

~*~ My Review ~*~

Absolutely FLOVED this one, it not only lived up to the expectations I had from the first book but absolutely annihilated  it.

Following book 1, Aurora must find a way to defeat the evil Morgana.

Aurora makes mistakes at first, like any normal 17 year old, but she does a lot of growing up and maturing, learning from her mistakes.

“Aurora Darlington was gone. Nothing in the world was going to change that. I was Aurora Firedrake, and I was born to be a queen. The people of Illiador needed me, my people needed me, and this time I would not fail them.”

Rafe continues to dazzle as the ever so charismatic Eldorian prince *swoon* and we also get to meet some hot fae warriors, this may I add includes the Prince of the Night Court, Tristan. Is it bad of me to say that I can’t choose between Rafe & Tristan for Aurora??? I wouldn’t like to be her when making that decision.

As war wages, deception and betrayal is waiting at her every turn, and new obstacles present themselves.

Her quest for her mother, and few strategies for defeating Morgana are quickly fall apart.

Could there be a legend of an ancient weapon, with ancient magic that could be the answer?

Having faced the evil queen once and miraculously surviving, will she finally be able to defeat the queen once and for all if the legendary Dawnstar truly exists?

Now is their only hope.

You get drawn into the story as the lead character discovers the extent of her powers and the twists and turns her adventure takes her looking forward to the next instalment.
