BLOOD TREE PART ONE

Title: Blood Tree – Part One
Author: Scarlett Dawn
Blurb:
Where there is dark, there is light.
The two halves make a whole…
Or do they constantly battle for dominance?

Kenna Julius is your average teenage girl. She has a bossy mom, a new boyfriend in school, and she never dreams of enchanted lands or fairytale castles.

She lives in the real world.

Or so she thought.

One fender bender sends Kenna traipsing through the woods and following her mom’s crazy directions. But when she falls into another realm where men play flutes under the full moon and magical powers crackle the air, her perception of fantasy becomes her reality. The hot guy she meets doesn’t help matters either when he claims she’s his.

Or does Kenna actually belong to another?
Someone much more…dark?

*This is a 20,000 word novella*

My Review:

Firstly I would like to thank the lovely author Scarlett Dawn for kindly providing me with a copy of “Blood Tree-Part One” to read and review.

I absolutely FLOVE her work!

Blood Tree is a short novella that introduces the reader to an amazing new world from the crazy mind of Scarlett Dawn, and this isn’t ONE to be missed!

We meet the young and beautiful 13 year old Kenna. Part One jumps every 3 years of Kenna growing up, we see her become more Feisty, fearless, and she’s certainly full of surprises, definitely fun to watch her grow up into a strong an independent woman that she is by the end of Part One

Her relationship with her mother is, how shall I say, a strange one at the most, unfortunately after a series of events everything that Kenna knew about herself and her life with her mother has been an lie and is about to drastically change, which is an understatement.

Kenna discovers the world of the Fae, and the fact that she is one of them.

But which one:

Light or Dark

You keep reading hoping there more pages to go, only there isn’t, NOT until the next instalment.
