~*~ Review ~*~ The Elite (The Selection #2) by Kiera Cass

The Selection began with thirty-five girls.

Now with the group narrowed down to the six Elite, the competition to win Prince Maxon’s heart is fiercer than ever—and America is still struggling to decide where her heart truly lies.

Is it with Maxon, who could make her life a fairy tale?

Or with her first love, Aspen?

America is desperate for more time. But the rest of the Elite know exactly what they want—and America’s chance to choose is about to slip away.

My Review:

Once again I would like to thank the author & NetGalley for kindly providing me with a copy of Elite to read and review

Being chose to be in the Elite 6 must be overwhelming, especially to be the only #5 within the chosen 6, such an accomplishment.

But with that said 6 girls are left, Maxon still has to date every single one of them equally, does’t he?

I be honest in saying America got on my nerve more in this one, she was very indecisiveness in her options, but she is seventeen and under extreme stress in, so I can’t really complain……much anyway…

There were many tragedies in this book, tragedies that changed America. Changed her view on things and put them into perspective, hoping to make a difference, but can she?

There were plenty of times I felt my heart beat faster in anticipation, wondering if both America and Aspen would get caught out…..

The Elite gives us a lot of twists and turns within the castle walls, some which will definitely come as a surprise, I for one didn’t see them coming.

I found the characters Kiera writes about, to be refreshing yet extremely complicated individuals

Tensions are high and the plot twists will have you flying through the pages a mile a minute

Who will America Choose? Aspen or Maxon?

Who will Maxon finally choose?

Will he follow his head or his heart?

Who will be The One?
