~*~ Review ~*~ Chosen Thief (Forever Evermore #4) by Scarlett Dawn

Chosen Thief (Forever Evermore #4)

The second saga in the bestselling, groundbreaking Forever Evermore series begins with Chosen Thief, where the life of a skilled lawbreaker becomes much more than she ever wanted…

Caroline Jules knows death is imminent. She’s only 22, but as an inmate of Death Row in the most secure Mystical jail, what else could her future hold?

Caro has no idea. Her solitary, transient life is about to get flipped on its head when it is revealed that she is the new Prodigy Elemental, and she has responsibilities and ties that she can’t ever escape. Caro is attempting to run from a brutal past, but the Rulers have other plans for this thief’s future.

But the transition from a self-contained existence to life with the other Prodigies, the Kings and Queens, and even the Elders was never going to be easy, and Caro has secrets she’s loath to share. Suddenly she has friends, mentors, lovers — and they all want to know more about her than she is willing to reveal.

Will Caro ever escape the darkness of all she is, or will she fall deeper into the life that has been chosen for her?

My Review:

Another kick-ass book from the lovely Scarlett.

I would like to thank her for kindly providing me with a copy of Chosen Thief to read and review.

We start out by getting a glimpse at Isa all grown up &  we get thrown into the action from the first page, it’s crazy action packed in the life of Caro, the Prodigy Elemental who happens to be an inmate of Death Row in the most secure Mystical jail.

Caro’s life goes from running, hiding and stealing to a completely different lifestyle when she finds out she is the new prodigy elemental.

She isn’t just any elemental, though, BUT I’m not going to tell you, you’ll have to read the book to find out.

Caro cracks me up, she’s one feisty little being with a HUGE sense of humour.

“You’ve got the Mage lifting his hands in fear as he glows, singing ‘This Little Light of Mine”

Caro is a complex character. She’s powerful enough but at the same time kind of a tad childish.

We still have a lot to learn with this new group of Kings and Queens, but things are bound to get even more exciting as time goes on.

Can Caro do this?

Will they find out her secret?

Will she fail before she can begin?

Will Caro ever escape the darkness of all she is?

Will she fall deeper into the life that has been chosen for her?

The story has action, drama, love, loss, friendship and MORE!
