The sole remaining member of the most famous shifter hunter family in history, Owen Nightingale is a mercenary and a man with a secret held in his closely guarded heart, but when a beautiful rare shifter catches his eye and offers him a job, he has the feeling he’ll be the one paying for helping her—with his heart.

Cait is in a spot of trouble with a capital T. A male hellcat has set his sights on claiming her and she’s one kitty who doesn’t want a collar. When she meets a dark, alluring and mysterious hunter, she sees a chance to rid herself of the male, but the price Owen sets and the fierce passion that burns white-hot between them lures her dangerously under his seductive spell.

Can Owen discover the true intent of the male hellcat and stop Cait from falling into his hands? And can Cait retain control as the heat of desire burns between her and Owen, or will a reckless moment seal both of their fates forever?

My Review:
Firstly I want to thank the lovely Carmel & Felicity for kindly providing me with a copy of “Bitten by a Hellcat” to read and review….I’ve probably said this before, but I shall say it again, I love Felicity’s Eternal Mate series….This one can be read as a stand alone though….Owen is a Hunter, mercenary, and has some shocking secrets. One night in the club he sets his sights on Cait. Owen is more than intrigued and something is pulling him to her.  Cait is a Hellcat, which is something new that we have not yet seen. Cait needs help as she is being targeted by a male Hellcat but Cait has no wish to become his mate. She is strong and definitely a fighter.

Once again, Felicity Heaton throws us into the world of these Eternal Mates and the chemistry hits hard and fast
“Owen drew her down to him, settling her back against his chest, and forced himself to let it go, because part of him know why she feared. He knew because he feared it too. He feared she would leave when the job was done and she was free to live her life again. He feared she would be the first woman to truly break his heart. Because he feared he was going to make the ultimate mistake. He was going to fall in love for the first time in his life.”
And I’m kinda smitten with the Hellcats.
They’re wicked cool what with the flames and awesomeness and all.
“He was the first to shake her world though, rocking her confidence and filling her with unsettling eagerness, a need she found difficult to deny. He was the first male to make her want to be the centre of attention. He was the first male to make her crave his eyes on her alone, his tough reserved for her, and his smiles under her sole possession.”
When emotions run high and the claws come out, will Owen and Cait stand victorious or perish in the fight?
LOVE that we got to see a familiar face….I love a bit of Bleu, BUT, seriously, when does he get his own book?!? HINT HINT!
This book had some mystery and intrigue to it as well which was fun and gave it some twists and turns that jumped out at you when you lest expected them to.
The ending was amazing!
