Review ~ Centaur Rivalry (Touched #3) By Nancy Straight

The Centaur world is rocked as news spreads of the Lost Herd, Camille’s existence, and her Centaur protector. A death order against Camille’s father and family sends all into hiding.

Camille and Drake leave the country pursued by the Lost Herd as well as by Centaur Council enforcers. Camille’s twin brother Cameron is manipulated by the Council Head and is quickly becoming her newest enemy.

Amid unexpected new protectors, enemies, and romances, Camille and Drake make their plans to travel to Africa to confront the Centaur Council. They hope acceptance of Camille as Chiron’s heir, yet knowing that her link to the Lost Herd could require them to kill or to be killed.

Yet again, another brilliant piece of writing from Nancy Straight.

I would like to greatly thank her for kindly providing me with copies of her Touched Series to read and review ❤

The books in her “Touched Series” just seems to be getting better and better as we, the reader, read on.

The tension and the looming build up is almost unbearable towards the end, and we can feel the angst of the impending council meeting that is due to take place imminently.

We see Cami grow in-front of our eyes, she’s come along way since book #1 Blood Debt, and she’s becoming the Centuaride that she is destined to become, a leader.

She’s become a more stronger, passionate, independent and is determined to protect her loved ones… any cost necessary.

Throughout her ordeal, Cami has had one constant rock by her side….Drake!

This guy right here….SWOON!

I thought things couldn’t get any worse for these but after him discovering the Arrow, things take a turn……for better or for worse….were not privy to such information until near the end of Centaur Rivalry.

We meet new faces along the way,  Katherine and Jessica, who become  a rather large part in the story, which I love and we also get to know Brent and Daniel a bit better….

There are some devious plans brewing, which promise much more action to come

This story definitely has some great moments that are heartfelt and emotional.

Fans will not be disappointed with this instalment.

I loved reading about the various character’s POV ‘s too, which as you will know by now, I absolutely love!

I love the description and the imagery of Greek mythology, the myths of Zeus and Athena that Nancy so eloquently writes about, the richness and the boldness in which she creates a picture of, is amazing.

Centaur Rivalry is a great instalment in the Touched series and you will be sorry that your missing out, so I suggest you start at the beginning with Blood Debt, you can embark on Cami & Drakes whirlwind adventure in Centaur Legacy, whilst trying to survive the heat that is on their head as we head off around the world in Centaur Rivalry where we find that love is the greatest magic of all, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end as we head off for the finale in Centaur Redemption.
