Camille and Drake don’t know who to trust or where to hide. Camille’s family is quick to come to her aid, but who among them can be trusted?
A supernatural benefactor forces Drake to choose between being the man he wants to be and the Centaur warrior Camille needs him to be.
Another action packed, and thrilling story in the Touched Series by Nancy Straight.
I’ve read a few books now by Nancy and I find myself drawn back each and everytime, begging for more and she certainly delivers to her readers requests.
The story begins right where the first book ends, both Cami & Drake are on a plane to Ireland. These two are set on a collision course for doom as their on a mission to locate he great Uncle Zethus and the arrow of Zeus.
The bond between Cami & Drake continues to get stronger and stronger although there are more and even bigger hurdles thrown into their course that they are set upon.
Drake is a strong masculine man who has no limits when it comes to taking care of Camille…and we come to to the realisation of what the limit it for poor Drake…
“She believed that because she had been intimate with a human before she met me it would somehow make her less desirable. I’m sure I would never admit it to anyone except Cami, but it just made me want her more. She wasn’t a pristine flower to be worshipped from afar. She didn’t fit into the cookie-cutter image of what I’d grown to believe Centaurides to be. She was real. She had passion, desires, and this sexiness about her I’d never seen in another – Centuaride or human. Who wants pristine when you can have perfection?”
I think Cami is a fantastic character. when she’s tasked with a challenge she does whatever it takes to survive. She’s strong yet soft at the same time, even though she’s still new to the centaur community she learns quickly and admirably.
“She was more than my love, more than my Centauride or soul mate – Cami completed me.”
You will also learn more about Daniel which by the way the stuff he says just had me laughing. Also there are some new characters in the story as well.
I loved how Nancy incorporated other story-lines within this, Cami’s brother Beau has made a life altering decision to leave the Centaur community and try living among humans.
I love Beau’s character and for him to take make his choice, bare in mind this isn’t an easy choice for any Centaur to make, makes Beau’s character so much more loveable, more admirable.
“Centaur Legacy” is a story that is complex and full of all supernatural elements, the storyline is full of action, betrayals, mystique and intrigue.
Bring on the third instalment ~ Centaur Rivalry
